About the fishing here

Glan lies between Finspång and Norrköping, covers 73 square kilometres and is just under 23 metres at its deepest. The lake is Norrköping's water supply and is fed by Motala ström, which also carries the water on toward Bråviken. Zander and pike are the classic targets, with perch, bream and roach alongside and burbot in the deep holes, and the red-listed asp lives in the system. Two things are worth knowing: the bottom water stays unusually warm in summer, around 14 degrees, and Glan is known for blowing up very fast, so watch the wind if you are in a boat.
