Lake Trichonida is the largest natural lake in Greece. It is situated in the eastern part of Aetolia-Acarnania, southeast of the city of Agrinio and northwest of Nafpaktos. It covers an area of 98.6 square kilometres (38.1 mi2) with a maximum length of 19 kilometres (12 mi). Its surface elevation is 15 metres (49 ft) and its maximum depth is 58 metres (190 ft).
