The fierce, dagger-toothed predator of the Zambezi and other southern African rivers, famous for its blistering runs and bone-jarring strikes. It hits spinners, spoons, fly and live bait, with prime fishing in warm low-water months around drop-offs, channels and current seams. Its hard, toothy mouth throws hooks easily, so strike hard, strike often and use a wire trace.
