A deep-dwelling open-ocean giant with a long flat bill, hunting squid and fish in the depths by day and rising toward the surface at night. Daytime fishing means dropping baits hundreds of metres down with lights and weights, while night drifting works closer to the surface. It is immensely strong with bursts of power, so heavy stand-up gear and stamina are essential.
