This Korean mandarin fish is a smaller, rock-loving relative that hunts small fish and shrimp in clear, fast streams and reservoirs. A camouflaged ambush predator, it holds tight to boulders and submerged timber and takes live bait, small soft plastics and minnow lures worked close to cover. It is a respected light-tackle target in clear upland water, best in low light.
