About Corvina
A sought-after coastal croaker of the southeast Pacific, holding over sandy and rocky bottoms and around surf and estuary edges. Anglers take them on cut and live bait, soft lures and slow jigs worked near the bottom. They often feed best in stirred, slightly coloured water along the beach.
Typical size: Typically 40 to 70 cm and 1 to 5 kg; trophy fish exceed 1 m and 10 kg. Record (approx.): approx. 12 kg (varies by region).
