About Chinook Salmon
The largest of the Pacific salmon, a hard-charging migrant that runs from the sea up cold rivers to spawn. Anglers troll spoons and plugs along estuaries and drift roe or fish big spinners and flies in the rivers. Strikes are heavy and the long, deep runs test both tackle and nerve.
